I know a lot here avoid super slabs, but in case you’re going to be on I-40 around Nashville the next week PLEASE be cautious on I-40 west mainly between I-440 and I-840. The recent ice/snow/deep freeze/thaw/torrential rain did a number on road conditions. Especially the right lane going west bound. There are big potholes and stretches where the upper layer of asphalt has disintegrated, leaving a washboard like surface that could upset an unsuspecting rider.
The weather here is going to be pretty the next few days so just wanted to let y’all know to keep your heads on a swivel even more than usual the next few days. I’m sure the DOT will get it patched asap.
