Was he part of the Not Ready for Prime Time Players ensemble? This was in 1975. Don't know. John Belushi had great physical comedic skills.
Andy Kaufman was on the 1st show.
Most seems to be based upon pop culture that I have no knowledge of and not really interested in. I do DVR it every week, watch occasionally and fast foreword through most. I've not seen a musical guest I'm interested in listening to for a long time. Most of it just seems weird to me.
We just got old John , SNL has always been based on pop culture , we just knew what it was in 1975 Well , and by all accounts the cast and crew had better drugs back then Dusty
I guess you're right, killer bees and landsharks and Rosanne Rosanadana were all the rage back then. Not to mention a performance by Leon Redbone ................wit hout my walkin' stick, I'd go insane............. ...
SNL was and is pop culture . You don't think our parents would have found Belushi all that funny do you ? I do agree , the musical acts are kinda weird now , but that has been true for 30 years , except for that Lady Gaga person , odd maybe , but the girl can sing . Most new acts bore me , auto tune should be against the law , and if you can play that funky music white boy , why do you need 15 dancers on stage with you . Dusty
