That's the catchy title for the article.  In fact it's research into oxygenating blood through the GI tract.  Raising the Ox level in blood.  The research is relevant to the current respiratory problems associated w/- - 19.

Whilst I was not aware such juxtapositioning of the internals with respect to a living creature could be achieved, I am not overly surprised.
I have been talking through mine for 63 years...!

After filtering the article, IIRC which ever way to oxygenate blood will help with the recovery for respiratory problems.  LOX in the exhaust system and the regular stuff through the intake.  Works rehydrating people too.
