BaT must have a system. Maybe the pocket tiddlers ( I know) generate more views.  I’m about to restore an SL 125 for a power lines teaching bike, but I can’t imagine buying anything smaller than a 175 for actual riding.

Certain models, like 911s, /2s and /5s, Corvettes, etc. get a lot of air time.  A friend of mine submitted a gorgeous original GS1000 and it wasn’t accepted.  I hope someone writes an inside book about BaT sometime.

In the meantime thanks JJ for keeping us alerted.

Silly money for what will become an ornament, tons of them out there, I would have thought by now all the deep pockets who wanted on already bought one, obviously not the case.

I bought a CT70 new in 1982, it’s in my garage attic with under 1000 km on it, one of these days I will dust it off and ask stupid money.

For sure, over eBay, craigslist, and the others you mentioned, BaT seems to be the place to SELL you vintage motorcycle, but not necessarily BUY one!!

I had a dude pretty much tell me the same thing about owning a Guzzi. Although he didn't know I was an owner.

It was after the judging at a bike show, my CX-100 had just won the 1st place trophy for sport bike. The trophy was on the seat.

I walked up to a dude lookin' at the bike and he said "Hell, I wouldn't have one of those G-D Motor Guzzy POS's"  I just said "I hear you man"

I then put the trophy in a backpack, strapped on my lid and rode off.

Different stroke for different folks I guess!
