Why did they choose 16-19" wheels?

Not sure, I think that's how those were offered from that maker. 16" and 18"

That one I like, similar to what I'm making my LM3. Mine has 17" & 18" Sport wheels.

Beautiful machine - ALL business.

Nothing superfluous.

I really like those old endurance racers.

As others have said, the photography is well done, too.

I'd be proud to have it my garage.  One minor detail, rookie mistake on the safety wire unless those are left hand bolts

Looks like parts from a carb 1100 Sport, front end is same triple. Mine has brakes on back of legs like a Sport, they must have reversed legs.

What is the thinking that required retaining springs on the reverse cone muffler end, when it is welded on ?

As with several other features of this bike, it is for appearance, not function.

<edit> upon further inspection, it looks like the megaphone has a reverse cone welded to it, and that the baffle assembly fits over that reverse cone and is held in place by the springs.

I reckon a well built endurance racer encompasses most of the good features you want in a bike.
If it’s a great endurance racer, it’s a great bike...
Although that thing may not have seen competition, it would still be a marvellous road bike if legalised.

I think the muffler caps look removable to repack them? The first few side shots seem to show the open seam.

i don't follow your reply? You say the same thing I asked ?  Wonder why they chose 16 and 19" wheels.

I don't see any reference in the specs to a 19" wheel.

This has been around awhile and I like it. beats another "cafe racer".  I'm restoring an old race bike, hope it comes out half as nice.

The engine specs are off  92bore x 78stroke gives you a 1036, not an 1150.
