98 EV ride
« on: September 05, 2021, 11:23:20 PM »
So, the old EV has been patiently waiting in the warehouse for almost a year. Decided to take the K75S over and swap them out. That Guzzi is so sweet and fun to ride that I’ll probably never get rid of it. Had been thinking of buying a Harley , but why? I’ll stick with the EV. Don’t know how you guys with 5 - 10 bikes find the time to ride and enjoy them.

2-3 months is max for swapping my bikes, mostly every couple weeks. Hard call for a favorite, maybe the EV.

I’ve been quickly getting my, new to me, 2001 EV completely roadworthy. Just installed a manual petcock, as the OEM electric had lost a wire. A replacement fuel sender is encountering this week. Replaced the fuel filter. Full fluid change next week, new plugs and a pigtail connecter for my heated vest.

Interesting to switch the floorboard, linked brakes EV, with my BMW R1100 RS. Really different animals.

I have two great bikes also and like you it causes turmoil at times as to “which one” when I go to the basement to suit up.
However the worse issue for me would be “which one would I get rid of” and the quick answer is NEITHER.
So I guess I’ll just have to continue to pay for tags snd insurance on both🤔👍

Had 3 insurance policies with 5 bikes apiece and 15 registered.  Registration fees went from $50 per to $100.  I scaled back to 5 bikes registered.  Still have my favorites.  Of the 2 in AZ.  One currently registered and insured.  All the rest are in HI at the Pacific Moto Guzzi Wildlife Refuge.
From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉
