Do you have the lower front fork tube to mount the second brake caliper on?  The wheel hub will need the brake rotor carrier.  A common part used on Guzzi and Ducati. Instead of a splitter for the brake lines, I ran one line down to the right brake caliper, used a long banjo bolt and ran the second brake line up over the fender to the left caliper. 

Make sure you use the correct master cylinder bore when adding the second caliper.  Your brakes will either be to soft if the bore is small or to hard if over sized.

Hey John, yes, this Stone’s forks have mounts on both sides.  Also, the hub already has a carrier on it, just remove the plastic cover and it’s there.  I acquired both calipers and a larger master cylinder as a used set from Ed Milich at GT - both calipers and master were previously on a Cafe Sport maybe?  Can’t recall exactly but they are the gold Brembo calipers with the same size mount holes.  Guess I’ll have an extra caliper if it all works out.  Can I add a 3rd disc to the front of my KTM???  :boozing: :grin:

I should give the KTM a test ride to see if it really needs a third.

I looked through my notes, I think I have a 12 mm m.c. The two  calipers are 30/ 32 2 piston Giving a ratio of about 25-1
  The Stock m.c.was made for one caliper.  On the duel disc front, the left caliper was operated by the rear m.c with the linked brake splitter and modulator on the swing arm.

The front fender is the same as yours.  I cut it down and chrome plated.

Cool fender, John.
Where the project here is now:
1) I put the forks back together night before last with new oil and the Hyperpro progressive springs.  I then went about replacing the steering head bearings and I have yet to complete that job.  The inner race on the lower bearing on the triple tree was seriously a monster to get off - I had to use heat (didn’t work), then ultimately use both a rotary tool to cut it, then eventually a hand grinder, and then a spike to get it moving even.  Now just waiting on parts to finish the bearing job. 
2) When pulling the tire off the front rim (haven’t made it to the rear yet) it had a ton of corrosion and rust so I used a wire brush and my grinder to clear away most all of it.  Interior of the rim is looking good again and I’ll start the process of attempted sealing for tubeless application.
3) I have swapped both the front headlight bulb and the two front turn signals for LED units.
4) Tank is at my sandblaster now and once I get it back I actually have plans to attempt to paint it myself using my 6 gallon air compressor which will be a challenge but I’ve done my homework on this topic and will take measures to get the best job possible.
5) I need to flush the breather system in the frame as it is filled with corrosion and metal pieces from being blocked up for no idea how long.  I will also be replacing all the hoses associated with the breather system as they are cracked and dry rotted.

After doing all of the above I will eventually start towards the rear of the bike, sealing the rear wheel, changing pan oil, checking bearings, and such.
