Best mod for my V85

This is one of the best mods I have ever made, hand protection, great rear vision, and wind protection for cold weather.

Those are neat !   I put hand screens on mine to match the widshield and then added endcap mirrors , but those do both things in one item ! 

Those endcap mirrors make a world of difference !

My favorite mods were:

- larger CalSci windshield with Vario wing for cold weather
- cut down OEM windshield for hot weather
- Givi hand guard extensions
- Fly Racing mini tank bag
- throttle rocker and Biltwell Renegade grips
- front wheel splash shield
- side stand pad

Hugo, the parts are as follows: Bark buster guards, SW motec hand guards, Rotwieler mirror mounts, generic mirror.
When mounting , do not drill thr mirror mounts, until you are sure that with heavy gloves on, there is enough clearance.

They "pivot" in a fall over instead of break. Also you can fold them in to the dash board for trail riding OR take them off with no tools and put them in a bag. I'm considering a pair for the T7

The V85 doesn't come with bark busters??




For right hand relief, I prefer this over the "paddle" doo dad, You can run for miles with NO hands on flat road- It's fun to pass HD's like that  : )

I always thought what you had to pay, versus what you actually got for that, was a bit of a one sided equation...
A bit like hiring a wench when you alweady own a tool kit..

The V85TT has cruise control for steady speed riding. I use the cramp buster so I can manipulate the throttle while riding around town or in the twisties with my wrist helping the hand. Works really well to keep my hand from tiring with the heavy stock return spring. Eventually I'll do the Huzo mod to lighten things up.

Did you notice any change in wind turbulence with the change of mirrors?

Better wind protection for my hands, warmer, makes the heated grips work better, better rear vision. And the seat cover works great in hot weather, take it off in colder weather.
