New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Very sharp! My only concern would be the tiny lights on the rear as I have spent many hours commuting around the D.C. area and I might have opted for high visibility. Especially if you travel in Northern VA.
Nice bike! I'm interested in your experience with the shocks. Where did you purchase from, and how do you like them?Cheers,Shaun
Well done! The silver tank and black parts looks great! Love those wide handlebars! That little black leather pouch is also a nice touch!
Very sharp, clean, and tastefully done. That said, not a fan of the taillight. I feel that style is trying too hard personally. But hey that's why there are many flavors.
I'll be honest I felt that way about the tail light as well at first. I was looking to put on more of a flat, Bates style light. But this came pre-attached from Baak to the fender, so I decided to give it a try. I got used to it pretty quickly and now I actually like it a lot.
Very nice, that is my favorite V7 tank!
These are the "2win" shocks from the Shock Factory. Guzzitech sells them in the US but were unable to get stock when I was looking, so I ordered directly from Shock Factory in France. I've only done a few rides since installation, but they immediately feel better than stock. They've got lots of good feedback elsewhere, so I am pretty confident they will work out. I also plan to get some better springs in the front, and then we'll see how the suspension as a whole feels.
Thanks for the info. Once you get a chance to ride with them a bit more, please feel free to share your experience. I'm thinking of these for the rear, and am planning to go with Racetech springs and emulators on the front. Trying to keep the budget reasonable for now, as this is my wife's bike and she's not sure yet how much she is going to ride.Cheers,Shaun
How's the III run? Any fueling issues? Did you block off the SAS air deal?
I’m thinking also about Racetech for the front. But another option that’s looks good and seems a little simpler than the gold emulators is this Matris kit from Guzzitech:https://gtmotocycles.com/collections/suspension/products/matris-v9-fork-spring-kit-with-adjustersAnd not a bad price.
I have full cartridges on my V7III from Traxxion Dynamics in GA, and Bitubo shocks on the rear because I wanted the red springs.
Didn't the Stone S come with factory Ohlins rear shocks? Was is cheaper to replace them than get the Ohlins tuned to your weight or what?
Came with standard shocks, but red springs.
