And the 9k is real.  I have the title from the second owner who bought it in May of '81 with 1800 miles.  He rode it cross-country with his wife and a BMW S fairing, then put it away.  His son sold it to me.  It needed a lot of cleaning and rodent nest removal, but all of the finishes are original.

That has to be the cleanest example I have ever seen listed, no idea of the market value but I hope it breaks $5K and keeps going. BAT is seeing stupid money on Honda tiddlers, this is no tiddler, and it oozes quality.

I thought so too until I rode it.  Not much acceleration, but at highway speeds it just chews up miles and is very steady. I could see it touring way above its weight class. The owner also toured with his then 8 year old son on a very well prepped K100.  The pictures are very cool.

I'd say $3500, my brother has a blue one for his wife. I had a red III for awhile. Folks used to tour on them all the time going to rallies. LONG BEFORE there was a V7sb model. I guess you'd have to be an old guy from the club to remember.

My GTV has an 80mph speedo, which is funny considering the car had a top speed of 127mph. The 80mph speedo does it's job. Your never temped to bury the needle.

One day I stopped in the Harley and Guzzi shop in Madison and Al Decker had the same bike and told me he was planning to ride it to Alaska later that summer,which he did with a buddy.He was in his 70s.When I commented on one of the Harley’s on the floor,he said they were junk.I saw the bike a few years ago at Road America and Als niece had inherited inherited it ,saying it was not for sale.Deb rode hers to Maine from Chicago in 79 and had no complaints.

The AeroLario has an 80 mph speedo, too. It'll do it.  All Guzzis have their unique sound, and to my ear, the small blocks are best.
