Leaking air cushion

Hello all:

  I have a Wild Ass air cushion, very similar to an Air Hawk, and I have some small leaks around the edges of the neoprene bladder (seat).
  Any ideas on how to seal this up?  I was thinking some form of a wet suit contact cement, so before I delve into that, I thought I would
  tap the collective and see what anyone else has to say.

You need a neoprene repair kit. Just like a tube repair patch but for neoprene. Do a search and you will find what you need. Something like this:

The original manufacturer of the Airhawk was ROHO from Bellville, Ill. made for pressure relief in wheelchair seating. (former profession) ROHO makes a repair kit. Amazon has them for $10.06. Just search ROHO repair kit. I had a desk drawer 1/2 full of the at one time - not anymore

I had an older Airhawk knockoff with a number of small age-related leaks. After several attempts to stop them with various super glues, someone recommended trying Flex Seal (As Seen On TV!), the supposed miracle leak stopper. Bought a spray can and shot 2 full coats on the bladder, letting it dry overnight between coats, and all the leaks were stopped. Try it, can't hurt.

You could mix Fix a flat and miracle grow and see what happens. You could fix the leak and get a bigger cushion. From what I hear it also works for a Viagra substitute. Called FLAT MIRACLE!

If it s in the seam, replace and have a permanent fix.
