Charlie:

I was a born a Marylander and was so for the first 30some years of my life.  I put down a lot of miles in the pleasant country where you live.  I don't miss the DC suburbs at all, but one day, I would like to journey back down memory lane by riding around up there again. 
Congrats on your new position.  Maybe I can make your rally some year.
