The GRIT Rally is always the weekend with the 1st Sunday in October. The OK Rally is the following weekend. Some long distance out of staters come to the GRIT Rally and then head up to OK on their way home. So this year, GRIT is Sept 29, 30, and Oct 1st, so OK should be Oct 6, 7, 8.
The Norton Rally is the same weekend as GRIT so some GRIT goers head to the Norton Rally on Saturday for the day. It has changed locations this year and is now about 1 1/2 hr southeast of Lindale. https://www.ntnoa.org/23rallye.htm

Does that help clear up the confusion?

Keith, looks like you can setup around the pavilion as long as your tent isn't a Barnum & Bailey Circus unit

I was just looking at the weather for next weekend and it doesn't look too bad. There is a chance of some rain in the AM on Saturday and a smaller chance of an isolated rain shower in the afternoon. The temps are golden however as its supposed to be very very pleasant (compared to the 100's of the last several months). Looking forward to seeing who all can make it.

Yep, Dave is correct. Weather shows a steady 72 degrees. No rain.

I’m already imagining the scent of the blooming eucalyptus trees, wafted towards us by that gentle ocean breeze in Oklahoma.

The Misses and I had a great time. Weather was perfect and there were no sightings of Bigfeets or Hessian"s (that can be confirmed). The roads down toward Honobia were fantastic. The food hit the spot all weekend as we first stopped in Mena at the Chopping Block and then on Saturday were ate at Outlaw BBQ in Talihena and ate with Rudy. We absolutely enjoyed visiting with all of our riding friends. Just as an FYI, there is the Gulf Coast BMW club's rally in Lafayette, La on November 9-11 at the Bayou Wilderness RV park. Looking forward to next year to see what that will hold.
