Yes! We will be making it again this year and we hope to see more of you there. Guzzistajohn and myself are trying to get the word out and see what we can do make this campout happen. Spread the word and plan on a great weekend of riding.

Who wants to do it for this year?

OK, so (typically) this one goes on the second weekend in October. That would be 13, 14, 15 October - but the first weekend (6, 7, 8) would be just as well.

Thoughts ?

I'm good either way, I do have a room @ the rockin H for the 6,7,8 but I can change it.

If it were all up to me, I'd keep it on the second weekend as it always has been. I'll look into the pavilion early next week, otherwise we will have to appoint a general gathering place elsewhere. Question..... How was the hotel??

Nope, it's usually on Columbus Day weekend which is Monday 9 Oct. So 5-8 Oct covers it.

Since all the RVs slots are gone and a couple of tent slots left, I wouldn't take bets on the Pavilion. I'm not here to post bad news, just to get everyone on the same page. BTW- there are lots of bigger campgrounds in the area off the highway too. But that would even be more confusing.

In that case, as I now remember that it was indeed the weekend before European Occupation Day, The first weekend is good with me. If all agree, we can spread the word... Still think that I will camp somewhere though no matter.

I called the park. New guy there, real nice dude. Said he was pretty good with the way we had been doing things as far as using the pavilion and pitching tents around it. Of course there is the "added tent" rate of $16 per night. The pavilion is open for the first weekend of October which is the 7th and 8th. Post a reply if this weekend works for everyone and if it would be worth reserving the pavilion or not and I will call back. If we all agree, just know that this year will be like last year as there will be no meals and whatnot provided. There simply isn't time to put together a proper rally/campout.
