Recommendations For V7 III Battery Replacement
« on: April 06, 2022, 11:44:49 AM »
Anni's original Yuasa YTX14-BS has given up the ghost. :thewife: We live in Phoenix, where batteries go to die a quick death in the heat, and are on a very tight budget. My husband ordered a replacement with an excellent 36-month warranty. Alas, it is a half inch too tall and can't be secured properly. We are now stuck with it because batteries aren't eligible for exchange.

Requests, in no particular order:
Long warranty
Decent quality
Low price
Measurements: L 5.75" X W 3.5" X H 5.75"
Lower weight is a bonus if the above are met.

That said, what does the WG Braintrust recommend?

I have this brand in my R75 ans EVT. I don't know how long they will last, but I have been happy so far. They do list the size, provided the numbers are correct.

https://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Max-Battery-YTX14-BS-product/dp/B00K537T9C/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3M3SV6LOBY60G&keywords=YTX14-BS&qid=1649264832&sprefix=ytx14-bs%2Caps%2C168&sr=8-5&th=1

Wanted to add. If you order this battery and order the black one, you may get the blue one. Or the other way around.

GG,
Replaced my original Yuasa YXT14-BS with a Firepower CTX14-BS in my 2016 Stone II in NOVEMBER OF 2019.
Physical dimensions are critical & this was a direct swap. One year warranty. Don't remember the price but it was less than I had expected. It has performed well so far.
