One man's affair with Moto Guzzi...
« on: July 10, 2022, 02:35:18 AM »
In the thread about my purchase and delivery ride of a T3 California, I have mentioned Lorenzo who is the president of a motorcycle club in southern Italy. Lorenzo lives in Galatina and one day when he was showing us around, he parked his car in front of his garage:

This seemed promising (!), but I waited until after a tour of the town to ask if we might see inside the garage. Lorenzo obliged:

But, it turns out he doesn't have just one garage, there were five, each containing treasures in various states of assembly, disassembly, ... Rather than guiding you through the garages, I'll just dump some photos here and let you all rummage through them like an Easter egg hunt for moto enthusiasts:

I’m curious about the white with red top Lemans 2 tank in the middle of the pic.  That’s the same paint scheme as the tank on my CX 100, which I assumed is just a custom combination that a previous owner liked.  Now I wonder if it’s based upon some other model or ?

Thanks for posting those pix and the story..

Quite a collection.

Looks as if a couple of those have been "rid hard & put away wet."

I was, however, particularly inspired by the garage door.  Never thought of that, but I could see that coming to the Moto Grappa.  Impressive!   Kathi is worried.

We have never been to Puglia; would like to see it.
