New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
This Alpha is what makes the Evora such a desirable sports car. I would love to afford the 2021 Lotus Evora GT.
I'd say a Jaguar; a company that had a big racing past, got out of racing and now produces elegant, heavy machines with a sporting feel. Something comfortable that can go at a brisk pace, but its not really fast. note: I'm actually not familair with any Jaguars beyond the V-12 XKE my father had in 1974 -5 . . . .
Modern Jaguars = British Fords...
If it’s a car that we’re talking about that emulates the quirky world of Moto GUZZI I think it has to be Italian, have a long history of race success, limited production numbers, design elements that have remained in tact over the decades….. not the most expensive or the fastest of its peers but beloved by thousands who just get ‘it’, I can think of only one vehicle that ticks all the boxes….Alfa Romeo.
Chinese....................
The problem with Alfa Romeo is that currently there is only a sedan and SUV available. That's fine if that's what one wants, but to me Alfa was always about roadsters/spiders and coupes...
Alfa Romeo is the Moto Guzzi of cars.Very old company now owned by Italian conglomerate. Multiple world racing championships during the glory days.Quirky, interesting, fun to drive.Sparse USA dealer network. Etc, etc
I may be biased, but the Jeep Wrangler could be it, pulls like a tractor, not overly complex but at times can be quirky...
Hardly. My XK was made in Coventry England. While Ford did instill some QC into the manufacturing process, it was designed and built by Brits. Jaguar is now owned by TATA, an Indian company.I’ve experienced not one issue in several years of ownership. Maintenance is important, and I have a very competent indie shop.
...For possible "fun" cars, maybe a Hyundai Veloster N? Or Honda Civic Type R? Or a Ford Focus RS? ...
And, the Jeep Wrangler does have some really stupid design aspects (rear seat access, namely) as do some Moto Guzzi models.
Ah, thats right. Jaguar/Land Rover is now owned by TATA/India, it is Volvo that is now Chinese owned... The XK is the real deal Jag...... I ALMOST bought an XK a few years ago, a beautiful Sport X model, but I wanted something new as I plan to keep it long term and as a DD. I have a buddy with the last steel body XF, the car is fabulous..... I've always wanted one of the XJ sedans....
Yeah, I agree. As Rocker described it I agree, but there isn't a modern version of that vehicle that comes close to a new Guzzi.
Title Says it all......I had a 1997 E36 BMW M3 for 20 years and LOVED it............... In 2020 I bought a Mustang Bullitt and it is fantastic, but like the FJR 1300 I had before I was converted to Guzzi in 2015, I am BORED unless I am driving at Go to Jail or Cemetery speeds.....So.............. What is the Moto Guzzi of Cars???? What has character, performance and life in a modern car? Don't say Miata...... That's a girls car................ ..
4C. Yeah, out of production, but cool sporty Alfa.
Right, forgot about the 4C. Expensive car but I'd love to test drive one.
