I’m not going anywhere in 2023if I can’t get this POS starter switch figured out on my 21 V7 Stone!!!!  Frustrating!  And if they are all bad switches, getting it replaced won’t help.  Contact cleaner here I come!!!  Lol

Well yes…
But no quite as far as this

On this…

Be careful, Huzo. I imagine with a postie loaded up that much, a territorial boomer might be itching to catch up to you and go a round or two.

Tentatively, I'm planning a trip from here in Bavaria to the Pyrenees and the Picos di Europa. And, while visiting relatives in Indiana, from N. Indiana to my daughter near Atlanta and take in the Barber Motorsports museum.

I hope that reality doesn't intrude.

We've put together a pretty good group of Guzzisti here in the Greater Indianapolis area. Give a shout when you're rolling through. Always good to have an excuse to gather.

Tonopah? It's not the end of the world but you can see it from there. I wanted to camp overnight there on the way to elsewhere but there isn't a regular campground for many miles.
kk

C'mon now...TONOPAH, Nevada!!  :thumb:   :boozing:  I have stayed there TWICE at the beautiful, restored, and historic MIZPAH Hotel!   :thumb:  :boozing:

Then, there's GOLDFIELD, NV, right down the road.

I said camping, not a luxury hotel. That hotel is out of this world. I've eaten but that was a number of years ago. Do they still have a restaurant? The only camping in Tonopah is in parking lots.

I Due to back issues my long distance riding days are over. I may take some trips to Motoamerica races in my 08 BMW tho. At least it's a car company that makes motorcycles too.

I and a riding buddy just reserved two bikes for 10 days of riding in the UK .  Planned on doing the trip last fall, but sudden illness completely blew that out of the water .  Hope for better results in 2023.  Fingers crossed.

Pensacola Beach is about 800 miles from our house - and it's a favorite of ours... in the off-season.

I have one trip planned to visit three motorcycle museums. A couple near Monterey and the one in Solvang where a MG V8 lives. A second trip to Eastern Nevada to visit a couple of old mining towns and Great Basin National Park. Also a day in Ely for a second visit to the Northern Nevada Railroad Museum. I will ride the train this time pulled by a steam engine. It runs 365 days a year and runs on time to the minute. You ain't on it by then you ain't goin, they wait for nobody.
kk

Change of plans. My wife wants to go to Solvang, she doesn't ride, we will 5th wheel that trip. So I will go to the Broken Arrow Rally in Gibbonsville Idaho instead. On the way there I intend to checkout the nation's first nuclear reactor near Arco. I tried to go there two years ago but it was closed due to -.

There's an outfit in British Columbia that publishes a backroads map book that offers detailed coverage of main roads, secondary roads, backroads, forest service roads and trails. Good for studying and dreaming about where to go and plan for a day ride, overnight rides, longer rides, rides by fish bearing streams and near to remote little lakes. If you can get such a thing for your neck of the woods, it gives you lots to consider while you wait for the weather to improve. The edition I bought has about 90 pages of maps, each of which links to the next. I can easily blow an hour laying on the couch deciding where to go next, how to get there and back to make a circle route.

I am planning to stay in my home Province and get lost in its vast area of 251,900 m2 (651,900 km2) which contains over 250,000 km of road surface. Saskatchewan sustains only 2% of Canadas population but contains 20% of Canadas roads, no need to go elsewhere for a ride I figure.  DonG

Yes, tentative closing date is Sept 5,2023.  Ridden right past it several times and thought 'I really should stop and see it.'  Gonna go in the Spring for sure.

I know that they said that it would be the last Illinois rally, but I was hopeful that someone would step up.

Haven't given up hope !

The guy across the road wants his bike delivered to Darwin, 4,000 km.
He’ll pay my costs and fly me back Qantas.
Might do that around April /May.
It’s one of these.

Hopefully a Royal Enfield rally  western Virginia in June.  The Okie. Possibly CV, but I'm not sure the Sultan is doing it this year. I hope to see WV again this summer; it's my favorite riding anywhere.
