Italian manufacturers are sure good at taking a base bike adding a bit of lipstick to it and calling it a "special edition" It seems they do this so often  that there are more "special editions" than regular editions.

Yes indeed...a few add-on's and stripes...and the MSRP goes UP by hundreds and sometime thousands of dollars!

Still...this is a handsome motorcycle, (IMHO) :thumb:   :boozing:

Actually, with Moto Guzzi the special editions are actually a discount compared to buying a base bike and making all those changes.  Of course that didn't stop me from spending thousands extra on my special edition V7III Carbon Dark.  LOL!

The Guardia D'Onore was a bargain with all the factory accessories that came installed.

Funny, that’s bill dahls bike. I’m near his house in KC right now. If you ask him, that’s the best Guzzi ever😁

Mine got delivered just before Christmas. Weather has been rubbish since but at least we are going in the right direction now (towards Spring). I really like it, exhausts sound nice BTW and are very well made. Not so much about the volume but more the tone that I find very musical/pleasing.

That bike is like New York City.  I get why he likes it.  It is amazing.  Two days and I’m out though.
