Need help with a HORN BUTTON

Need some help here and there are many creative types on this forum, so....I am missing my left thumb due to a car accident in college......many moons ago. I am fine with riding, even trials riding until the obstacles get huge and I need a finger on the clutch and only have 3 on the grip...but that is irrelevant. My issue is I can't reach the horn button without taking my hand off of the grip. And of course, if I need to beep at someone that kinda means I need to control the bike extra carefully. So I am thinking there must be some way to mount a horn button in FRONT of the left side gear switch. I realize probably no one here has ever done this but maybe you technical guys/gals have some ideas for a small switch....and how to wire it? Even the stock horns on my bikes are better than yelling through a full face helmet! Thanks,

Something like this?  Turn it around so that the button faces forward.  Wire one lead to a switched power source and the other to one of the horn terminals. Other terminal to ground.  I prefer these Fiamm horns.  Sometimes I use both a low tone and a high tone horn together.

YES! something like that! Heck, it even comes in colors!! I am a wiring noob......though I did wire 2 additions in my home........just followed the book! But I have an EE genius friend who would surely help me. THANKS for links! Yes, I would want the Fiam horns too.

Or you could re wire the flash to pass headlight switch that seems like is in the perfect position. If you have a modern bike that is.

The flash to pass button can probably do both with a minor rewire at the relays, if the bike has relays. Activation wire from flash to pass relay spliced to activation wire at horn relay, easy to jury rig to test jumper wire and then do permanently if it works. Wiring diagram will tell.

Using the flash to pass button for your horn is difficult if it feeds the same wire as your highbeam switch. That’s the way my Griso is, for example. You can get around that problem by rewiring the switch module.

Since you are missing your left thumb, maybe a better solution is to switch the functions of the start button and the horn button. That should be pretty straightforward.

I feel your pain, since I’ve only got one and a half thumbs myself.

There may not be a suitable button for the left bar, I wonder if you could put one on the right side next to the start button or even use the start button in some way?

 Add an extra button below the start button and sound the horn with your right thumb, I do like the idea of using the headlight flasher button also but you would need to use a relay for the horns.
Our local Auto parts store Canadian Tire sell  a very loud fiam package called Freeway blaster with one Hi tone, one low tone and a relay for about $35 I have used these on several Guzzi's
You definitely need a relay to power the Horns.

Err, welcome to the club? Table saw? Flipped my Honda Civic back in my college days and slid along on the roof, dragging my head (great excuse when someone thinks I am odd.....) and my hand got caught between roof and road......luckily only my thumb.
