March meet n greet lunch will be at the Farmhouse Restaurant in Etowah Tn. 1230hours eastern time on March 25 2023. Please let me know if you will be going for restaurant headcount. Thank You

I've a lot to do in the next four weeks but definitely am planning on camping in the area and attending.

Nope, I cant camp at Parksville lake campground as it looks full. Maybe a non electric site at Hiwasee/ocoee state park???

Great ! I might camp at either Hiwasee/Ocoee State Park (They do not have electric sites) or Parksville Lake Campground (RV Park) as they have electric sites.

Change #89. lol. I am staying for the weekend at the Cherhola Mountain Trails Campground that weekend with Twowheeladdict. (Actually 23-26 March). Lunch will be on Saturday March 25th at 1230 at The Farmhouse Restaurant at 1201 Ohio Ave, in Etowah Tn.

Feel free to stop by anytime between 23-26 March at the campground (I hope they allow visitors) and they have a gas grill there if we want to put on steaks or something. (Would have to pick up some plates, fixins, plasticware etc though as I will be on bike and am not packing all that stuff for the trip, as i dont have the room. (But could get some there at local store)

Anyways the campground is https://cmtrails.com/. Their address is 132 Reliance Road, Tellico Plains, Tn. 37385.

I am planning to go, but I'm stuck in NC going to one appointment after another. Each time I go to one, another one gets put on the schedule.

Currently, the last one is next Wednesday, but I'm betting another one will be added then.

They are calling for the possibility of SNOW on Saturday the 25th of March, the day of our lunch in Etowah Tn. If the weather forecast stays poor I will post on here if we cancel. So keep an eye on this page/group if you are/were planning on going!

its a little early for weather forecasts, but Etowah Tn forecast for Saturday 25 March is (according to my weather app) is calling for 62 degrees and cloudy. That can change fifty times yet. Il keep an eye on the forecast as I have to take my old Honda CB 750 chopper to lunch on that Saturday (It needs shakedown rides before a june trip), and that chopper is no good in rain (Pods for air filters and no front fender baby!)

Also I was going to go camping up in that area (Tellico Plains Tn) from Thursday through sunday but my forecast is calling for 2-3" of rain Thursday and another 1" of rain on friday. I wont go if its that wet. Not good on a chopper. lol. Il post on here if i cancel my camping out. I also have contractors/carpenters coming to my get away cabin that has squirrels in the roof area and i have to be there for that. They are coming Tuesday the 21st and im hoping they get the project done in a day or two, and I can still go to Tellico Plains and Etowah but if I have to bow out il post it on here.

Due to contractors coming to work on my cabin next week and weather on some of the days I will NOT be camping at Cherohala mountain trails campground but will still go to lunch at 1230 in Etowah Tn on Saturday 25 March in case anybody else is going to lunch. Thanks !

Yes the farmhouse restaurant at 1230 Saturday for lunch. Week from tomorrow. 25 March 2023. My long range forecast looks wet to me!

I stand corrected David !

A Harley ridder. He's my younger brother and he started out on a Honda 185 twin star I sold him (cheep) when he got to be 16 years old and got his driving license. He's had a lot of bikes over the years and finally bought a Harley so he could "Slow-Down" a little now that he's over 50 ! It didn't do any good for the ( slowing down part ) but he still has it !

This coming Saturday. Hope the rain holds off. I canceled my thursday through sunday weekend camping trip because of rain being in the forecast for two of the four days (and because i have squirrels in my camp roof!!). NOW the forecast says;

Thursday 79 mostly sunny
Friday 79 Partly cloudy
Saturday 70 with 40% chance of a stray shower
Sunday 75 and sunny.

Geeezzzzzz I cant win. lol Hmmm wonder if i should fire up the old 72 Honda CB 750 chopper and go for the camping trip anyways as it needs the shakedown miles before its June 300 mile trip. Hmmm???? Guess it depends on the squirrels in the roof problem at my camp. Taking that problem on today (Tuesday) That should be interesting!

All my schedule changing due to roof needing to be worked on to remove squirrels from roof line, and contractor helping me get the job done today, and then the contractor had to cancel due to truck problems.

Geez....now my schedule is really up in the air.....OK Im done whining. Move on.

Not every one can have Squirrels' in their roof , your a lucky guy . Maybe them squirrels need some cat smell to help them pick who gets to be Lucky and who don't ? Just an idea ? But I'm thinking , If they really want to bless your cabin with their presents then you really can't stop them ? They're there all the time ... that's quite the advantage.

Well , I've already ask my brother if he wants to meet me/us for lunch . He is seeing if his old ridding buddy Jason wants to go for a ride too.

If the weather is dry and not freezing , then I'm in for the Farmers Restaurant at 12:30 eastern Saturday .
