I was informed (from Dusty) that he is OK, and that he is being held for observation for a few days.

Hate to hear of these types of injuries,
ribs, heart etc.. You wonder if an air bag vest may have been just the ticket.
I've recently started wearing one and hope to never find out.
Hopeful prayers to you.

This is Dave.

I am presently recuperating at a beautiful rv park in Mayhill NM.  with my dear friends Jim and Betty Rich. Still a little sore but better every day.

I am humbled by the number of well wishes and assistance I have recieved from my Guzzi community.

Thank you. I am grateful 🙏.
Love you brothers and sisters and others.

Dave:  I really wished you had checked with me first.

I would have told you it really sucks to toss your V7 Stone down the road and go pavement surfing.  Do not recommend.

Hey now, I wasn't involved this time and I managed to ride to and from the rally upright this time. Motorcycles are more fun upright.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!!

A few years ago,  I rode home from Mandello with 3 broken ribs! I tripped over a tent rope as I was making a last look around before I left.

I knew it hurt and went to the hospital here, directly upon returning. 3 broken ribs! Good thing I use a big 'ol kidney belt when I travel. It helped a lot!
