I was informed (from Dusty) that he is OK, and that he is being held for observation for a few days.

Hate to hear of these types of injuries,
ribs, heart etc..

You wonder if an air bag vest may have been just the ticket.
I've recently started wearing one and hope to never find out.

I am presently recuperating at a beautiful rv park in Mayhill NM. with my dear friends Jim and Betty Rich. Still a little sore but better every day.

A few years ago, I rode home from Mandello with 3 broken ribs! I tripped over a tent rope as I was making a last look around before I left.

I knew it hurt and went to the hospital here, directly upon returning. 3 broken ribs! Good thing I use a big 'ol kidney belt when I travel. It helped a lot!
