The LM 850 fairing is just a styling exercise. Does nothing to keep the wind off your body. CX and LMIII fairings actually work.

The LM II or CX100 upper fairing is a very, very good design in terms of function.  The lower fairing is too, if you have short legs.  If you have long legs the losers lack knee clearance.
