Le Mans 1 (19767) Instrument Cluster Bottom Plastic
« on: October 23, 2023, 05:14:37 PM »
Hi Folk,
I've purchased an extremely well restored Le Mans from 1976. it will complement my brand new V7 SE. I'll save the Le Mans for sunny days.

The one thing that appears to be missing is the lower part of the instrument cluster. I can easily find replica or used instrument light panel (the top), which is not needed. It is this part (see photo) - not my bike, an online photo.

this is my bike:

Any ideas? Am willing to pay to have it recreated (CNC a suitable plastic), or 3D print too, but that supposes I can find an original to use as a template.

thanks in advance.
Couple of pictures of the bike. As you can see it's been the subject of a very faithfull restoration, but this one plastic piece is missing and I'd like to try and complete it.

In the meantime, I read the Bible (Ian Falloon) and found this  picture on page 67.

The text (click on image) says that the very early Le Mans had the instrument panel from the 750 S3 and this instrument panel is shown without the plastic I am "missing". So seems that, if my bike is genuine early Le Mans, it's actually the way it came from the factory....

Post left up FYI.

I think you are right. Just looked at the brochure for the 76 LeMans and there is no plastic piece, mine is a 76 but it has the plastic piece.

Guzzi had new ones for T3 10yrs ago, now no idea. I put one on a LeMans 1, that was 10yrs ago. It was a 77yr.
