Downsizing and found my roadracing fotos from back in the day. I am “Scanning “ them in w a digital camera and converting to b/w. You can smell the two stroke and hear the pipes…

Went their every year from '78 to '85 and camped up by turn 6. Big change when they built the new track.

Raced there once in 75 or 76 when they had push start— was first at turn one and dead last at midway— love those rd350’s….

Cool pictures. Two stroke oil smell makes me think of my Granddad. Every time. He was born in 1901 and left in 1993. As a very young kid he took me to work with him sometimes where he mostly rebuilt two stroke marine engines. From across a lake , he could tell you if the mixture was right. I wished I had his knowledge. Thanks for the pics!
