Another great conversion completed by Mr.Lee Bruns Watertown SD, finished, the Tearaplane still has the dust on it from sitting in my shed since 2003. I’ve been wanting to hang it off the 2003 EV for many years just didn’t get a round to it. Lee ran into several unanticipated obstacles with the project but managed to complete it this week.
I haven’t had a chance to drive it yet, he will deliver it this week. What a guy! Shortly I will be changing the original triple tree with an EZ Steer that I got from a member here ( sorry don’t recall who now), Future modifications include EMI rims I got from Chris Collins the Wisc Guzzi rep, which will have Smart car tires for better handling and tire mileage, and putting on a Cal III fairing, as soon as I can, but those maybe a next winter project.
For now I’m going to put on as many miles as time allows and get used to driving a rig again. I also need to find a harness to keep Mr.Wilson our standard poodle in the rig, and hopefully give my grandsons the experiences my daughters had growing up as biker trash-etts.
