V7iii USB socket

I am adding a USB adapter to my V7 III. Found the connector that attaches to the plug next to the battery on Amazon (Link below) and have an adaptor. Just checking that the plug under the seat is fused. Anyone able to confirm?

That looks like the one for connecting to the ECU. I bought one that connects to the battery and is fused and ran up to handlebars.Clamp came with it, also has 2 USB ports, on/off and LED voltage display. Was like 10-12 USD I think

I have an SAE battery tender connection so I just bought an extension and USB adapter to use with it.

Yup, just figured that out. Thanks. Looks like wiring direct to battery with in-line fuse gets me there.

Since confirmed it is fused. So if you want the ignition to turn it off, connect to the connector next to your battery/under the seat (model dependent). If you want constant power wire it directly to the battery, but be forewarned that a device left on could drain battery power. To search for the connector on amazon/google put in "2 pin superseal amp female connector",
