I would love to get out to the Ohio rally to see the Blake tribe. But my GF has me going to Minneapolis for the wedding of a person she baby sat decades ago.  Maybe I will see you guys at the Kentucky rally if you make it this year!

We have a Makoto Endo print to raffle!   It’s wonderful!   Endo will be at Barber Vintage Motorcycle Days in October and will paint YAMAHA YZR500 WGP champion machine front of Kenny Roberts.   I am going to attempt to attach some pics

Also, Makoto Endo is this months feature in Easy Rider Magazine August 2024 edition.

I hope to make this rally.  It will be my first Guzzi Rally though I have attended many BMW rallies.  I will be riding my Guardia d'Onore.  Looking forward to meeting everyone.

rickg:  I came to MG from Beemerland myself.  I attended many BMW rallies as well.  A Guzzi rally is more like an old school BMW rally when more people had airheads.  Meaning no offense to people that love them, since the newer Beemers are so expensive, it's a different crowd now.  Also, MG rallies are smaller affairs and seem more like a big family.  You should come even if its just for a day although on Saturday, most are out riding during the daylight hours.

i was this/close to heading to the OH rally this year, FINALLY, but work has intervened. Drat!

I will, however, roll in Kentucky.

Sorry Andrea. I really want to get to Zanesville.

Another great rally in the books.  Yes, it was hot much of the time, but the pool was a big help.  The bunkhouses were cool for sleeping.  The Sunday ride home (for me) was sublime weather wise.  Never got over 80 from Z-ville to Peach Grove, KY.

It's hard to say enough good stuff about Andrea, Paul, Dave, Kathy and the other volunteers.  They work so we can play.  Thanks again folks.

Attendance was down a little.. like the Turnip Farmer sez, "If you watch the weather channel you'll never go anywhere."  It *was* hot, but the forecast thunderstorms with possible 60-70 knot winds didn't happen. Dorcia won a pass to the Kentucky rally and I won a new Summer jacket courtesy of Enzo .  :thumb: The stuffed peppers at the campfire were awesome as usual, as was the "gay repartee."
For sure, the Blakes are fine folks..

So glad to hear all of you enjoyed the Zanesville Rally.  I didn't make it  ....... not riding much at all in the last year or so, but I'm happy to know that Dave, Kathy, and Andrea are keeping this wonderful event alive and active!  I'll mark my calendar and do my best to attend the next 2nd Sunday of the month breakfast at Mike's Place in Kent.  I rode mostly BMW for much of my 40+ years of saddle time, but some of my best experiences on two wheels were on Moto Guzzi for nearly 10 years.  Much of this I attribute to the really great group of riders I met through my Guzzi experience (and of course, at Mikes!)  Not to mention ............ the bikes were pretty damn sweet!
