Time to bring that V85X out of R&D Hell, perhaps?
Maybe the ‘leaked’ spy shots were so poorly received that Guzzi simply tossed their prototypes into the lake.

Ooooo—how many Moto Guzzis have been dumped in that lake?

A liquid cooled V85 with a sensible seat height.
Analogue clocks.
No TC or fully switchable.
Nicer looking aluminium luggage with top opening.
Larger screen as standard.
Outboard spoke or cast wheel option (tubeless).
Similar or only slightly more power than current V85.
Adaptive cruise control.
Minimal gimmicks.

Also an 850 cc version of the V100.
Not as insect like in styling.
Lower seat.
Same features as the V85.
Retain the TC.

The obvious model is a new California.  It's a huge hole, that is a natural to fill, I would bet money on it.

C’mon, that’s the safe answer ;) we all know they renewed their California trademark last year.

I KNOW — they’ll reveal the transverse twin-battery e-bike we all didn’t realize we’ve been unconsciously lusting for!

V85's already been updated for 2025. I'd say next will be a naked V100 and as Chad posted a V1200 California.

2025 will be the year they finally acknowledge the great impact of Oberdan Bezzi’s prolific contributions to the brand, and to honor the sweat he put into all the custom concepts, they will offer a limited run of V7 E5s with a unique tank color…and color-matching mudguards.

My first guess is a new Cali model. Im guessing it will be based on the V100 platform in some way. WHat I WISH is coming, is a true sporting V7. Simplicity of the current V7, but with better suspension and brakes. I know with the V100 models, the old aircooled twins might be a bit of a dead end, but it would be nice to see a true V7 racer hit the market.

Yes, but will a 125hp (minimum) Guzzi sport in either modern or retro look impact Aprilia sales?

I got one of the Mandellos because I need a lighter bike due to age. A new California would be nice but I am a bit afraid that the weight would probably be piled on it. Although if it were a bit lower, like a V7 then it would probably fit the bill. However I have promised myself no more new bikes, kinda.

Just as the small block was to Guzzi big blocks, how about a small block V100? Perhaps a V65 (a la Honda CX650) that is a little lighter, simpler, but water cooled and with 4V could put out as much (or more) power than current V7 850.

I would like to see a new California, if it is lighter.  I just got off of my 700+ lbs. 1400 based California (Eldo) and just told my wife that I fear the day when my left leg is no longer strong enough to get if off the sidestand.  550 lbs would be nice.  The problem with downsizing that type of bike is that it loses it presence factor.  For me, that long, low look, massive block and cylinders and air cooling is what pulls me to the present 1400 version.  Probably enough used 1400s for those who really want them.  If a new, lighter version will help keep Guzzi viable, I am all for it.
A new Norge would be nice too.

Hard to bring in 24's when there are lots of unsold 21, 22, 23'S sitting on dealers floors.
Same thing happened with the 98 EV's. They brought in too many. The 2000 year basically didn't exist.

I always wondered about that. Looking for Guzzis years ago, I found a TON of 98's, and maybe a 99 or two...then a lot of 02's..  Seemed like vary few inbetween.

A 450 twin with 35-40 hp, 270-degree crank throws, shaft drive, and a wet weight of no more than 350 lb would be something I'd eagerly consider buying.
