Any pics or tips on what you've done to upgrade your Guzzi California Tail lights? (my bracket is old and starting to crack, looking for something more attractive).

On a customers rear fender I cut box off and installed an Aurora metal tail & turn signals from Custom Chrome catalog. A metal one piece unit. License plate is on top.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but having owned Harley Sportsters in the past, one option would be something like this LED tail light with integrated turn signals (unless your state has a minimum distance between turn signals, like VA has). Making up a license plate bracket is easy, just have to make sure the tail light can illuminate the plate, or put a short LED strip under the tail light for the plate.
I had a Shelby GT350, and had a Sportster with a 1450 kit painted to match. I added one of these 3-bar tail lights to match the tail lights on the Shelby:

A while back, hit a bad frost heave and lost part of the tail light assembly on the landing. I got just the taillight, but they sell the whole thing now with the mounting bracket.

3d printed mine. Five year ago and still holding strong, plastic is leeching some white streaks but that can be covered by some rattle can paint at some point.
I alleviated any type of vibration that would stress crack the right angle also adding supports.

I just ordered a Model-A tail light and bracket. I'll have to do a little minor fabricating. I'll provide updates here.
