Something that was disappointing but good to clear up, I had reached out to Moto Guzzi USA customer care department about the OEM heated grips that were announced for the 2025 model year, they confirmed that they are only for the 2025 model year and will not work on prior model year V7 850s. This makes sense as the throttle tube is likely much different for the new ride-by-wire bike, but I was hoping to have an OEM solution. Now I will likely go with aftermarket Apollo grips on my V7 850, which I have used before and are okay, but I'd have preferred the control and display integration.

On many many bikes I have used the grip heaters that are like a flexible panel that goes under the grip itself. Makes no difference what throttle tube and you get to pick your favorite grips. In other words you are not limited to grips with heaters in them. Food for thought.

Those will also be cheaper than anything else and will hook right into the Guzzi wires and work fine on the dash display. I had them on the first v85. Just don't buy too small of a heat element.
