CONNECTOR 1998 V11EV Fuel Pump
« on: April 26, 2025, 11:09:35 AM »
Meanwhile back at the fuel pump.

Before the pump went wonky, the two pin polarized connector failed internally. Seemed the wire was staked poorly and weakened the connector. It cracked at the stake and disconnected the pump.

I did a highway repair then a twisted wire connection back at the motel which got me all the way from Alabama to Massachusetts.

But I would like to replace the connector with the minature one as originally installed.

Any one know where I can buy such a polarized connector?

Thanks.

I did a search for the Weber marelli fuel injection supplement for Guzzi’s. I didn’t find that but I found this service manual that I’d not seen before

Tom

I have used Cycleterminal several times with no problems. On my 2007 Griso, several years later than yours, I found that Hitachi type terminals were used throughout:

Maybe yours is one. Earlier bikes used Molex.

The little round connector? I've never seen that type available anywhere. If it were me, I'd replace it with an AMP Superseal connector. Available from Greg Bender for $3.50.

I have those around. It's just that they are physically so much bigger. I liked the compactness of the original.
