Header clamp flange question

Here's a pic of one of my Bassa's header pipe clamps:
My parts diagram shows a flange with fins. My 08' Norge had one with fins, and used aluminum lock nuts that wouldn't damage the studs when tightened. I'm guessing someone didn't have the right part(s) and used these. Do you see any problem with this?

Do yours use locknuts instead of 2 regular nuts like mine?

This is what I have. IIRR it was like this when I got it. Nothing wrong with the double nut you have. That way they won't come loose and you also don't have to tighten them so hard that it bends the flange.

The radial aircraft engines used Palnuts as lock nuts. Easy to line up the points on the nuts so that they looked good. You would also have some threads showing.

I have the original FINNED flanges on my Bassa, but aside from some minimal gain in cooling, I don't see any problem with what you have.
