Weird V7III
« on: June 25, 2025, 01:04:04 AM »
I went for a ride today turned off the key then turned it back on again to read the battery Voltage, the bike cranked and re-started without a light show.
It did this several times until I left it off for about 30 seconds then I got the light show etc with no cranking.
has anyone else seen this?

Swag - perhaps there's a diode or like in the circuit that doesn't fully power down the cluster or ECU for a few seconds after power is cut. If you shut the key but turn it right back it doesn't bother with the startup self diagnostic check because it doesn't recognize it as a new "start".

You have stumbled onto a partial code sequence...  Todays digital madness, machines are being programmed by the play-station kid generation, and they have inbedded a secret code sequence to unlock "invincibility mode".
Key on and off three times quickly, two taps on the rear brake pedal while holding the left turn signal on...  and BAM....  "invincibility mode"  see you later Bussa boy !

sorry...  i couldn't help myself

Nothing much better than a Tannat from the Salta region.
