2 1998 V11 EVs in One Spot
« on: July 02, 2025, 06:58:17 PM »
Today there was a small gathering of 1998 V11 EVs.  Never a common sight, but nowadays pretty darn rare.

Every EV I have heard of seems to be a 1998, it must have been a banner year for Guzzi.
The one I had was a 98 also.

I see two together multiple times each day.   Mine is red/cream and Regina's is HDM.  Both over 100K miles now.

I had one also. It was a high production year on the 98 for Guzzi.  I believe it was Cycle guide, world, something that picked them as the bike of the year. Guzzi figured they'd sell a ton, so they made a ton. I guess they forgot it takes dealers to sell a motorcycle. They were just as hard to deal with back then.

One near me. 41K miles.
I'm pretty tempted, but he's asking $3650, which is high. (Believe me, I've been watching the market for a LOOONG time!)

Has also has a thing for Saabs, which makes me like him more.

Yup, “Cruiser of the Year”, 1998.
