Breva Windshield
« on: July 07, 2025, 04:33:13 AM »
Hi All,

Do you know if the original windshield can be easily installed onto a factory naked Breva and what fixings are required?  I have no Breva, but planning to buy one and before I see it I would like to know if this can be fixed to the headlight easily?  My 1200 Sport with the dedicated screen has a hollow screw on the side of the headlight where the bolt is fixed for the windshield.  How is that on the Breva?  I can purchase the screen as on the photo, but need to know what else I would require to install this?  Or would you recommend a different screen?  I am looking for a small one similar to the one I have in my Sport.

I had a look over the parts catalogue for both bikes.  They are not the same:

Item 20 and 21 (special screw) is in the Sport model only.

Ah, no idea what that is for. If it helps, I have a 1200 Sport fairing on my 850 Breva, fits just fine

Thanks,

I am sure the Sport fairing fits Breva, but as it looks it doesn't fit a factory standard Breva without the special fixings (as in the Sport model) in place.

No, my bike came with the standard Breva fairing, photo below. The only issue I had was using screws that were too long, these screws interfered with the steering lock[/url]
