NGC - Ford E-150

I have a 2004 Ford E-150 Cargo van which I love just as much as my Guzzis. Looking to do some performance upgrades and tryi9ng to find a forum/site that is just as good as this one. Hoping someone here has had some experience with this and may have some recommendations. Mine has the 4.6L, V8 2V which I just learned yesterday (after 14 years of owning it), is one of the best Ford engines for longevity and also to upgrade performance-wise easily, but it seems hard to find anything for them by selection to fit the E150, unless you are a mechanic and know what will or will not work (that engine is used in a lot of cars, including Mustangs).
Here it is when I got it delivered from Texas in 2011. Since then, some paint has flaked off, has transported all my Guzzi and Vespa purchase, was stolen, then recovered, and it's one beast I plan on keeping long run

I'm working on my Jeep XJ with an issue. Crank no start. Hired a mobile guy who has a better scanner, mine just cancels dash lite & reads codes there on dash. His picked up live what sensors are doing. Stored code in ECU that doesn't show on dash. 1st time ever had someone else work on my stuff.
Cheaper for him to come than buy a scanner to not use. They are pricey. Turns out he had one. I won't buy anything else, been driving 4.0 Jeeps since 87. I don't wan't to learn anything new, there's millions of these out there.
If you got something reliable that works keep it!! I'm sure there is a Ford forum sub-list section out there, good luck.

In the '60's section as well as '14 F-150 sections there are some good people. Might take a day or two for an answer:

Gotta agree with Tom. Great site, took me about two hours of searching and narrowing down the symptoms on my Ford chassis motorhome and found a guy with a similar problem and it cost him a $1500. speedometer/trans control module. Took mine apart and found a chip with a cold solder joint. I immediately subscribed to their site and have been pleased with the breadth of knowledge that is on there. Just like here on Wildguzzi!

Fond memories of a '76 E250, 351 Windsor 2 bbl, C6 trans, 3.73 rear gear. I'm giving away my age, here... Took my bride-to-be to a costume dance (at least 44 years ago!), her in a princess' mauve-coloured fancy-dress; drove her to university quite a few years in that van, towed my first travel trailer in it too...
If I recall, Dad suffered a slipped timing chain at some point... plastic sprocket possibly?
Cheers!
