Seat rebuild for V100?

I find the stock saddle on my V100 Mandello S uncomfortable. I've tried a variety of aftermarket add-on cushions with mixed results. Currently I'm using one of the gel honeycomb seat pads but it' still not satisfactory for much over an hour. I'd really like a Russell or a Mayer.  Has anyone found a good seat build for this bike? I'm about 215# but have a boney butt.

Have you tried a cheap beaded seat cover? They’re my personal bony butt savior, creating a matrix of contact points that allow my derrier to avoid getting hotspots.

I had Bill Mayer build me a seat a couple of years ago and my V100 Mandello is now an all day, 1000 mile bike.

Over the last 20 + years I've had 5 Russell Day long saddles. Both solo and dual seats. A little pricey, but worth the money in my book. If you buy a used one, you need to have similar body sizes as the person it was made for. They are not Lazy Boy plush but after a couple 2 or 3 hours you realize your butt doesn't hurt. On one bike the stock seat was good for about 30-40 miles. A corbin was good for about 100 miles A Saddleman Travelcade about 300 miles. The Russell was good for as long and far as I wanted to ride.

My V85TT seat is, like I said, good for as long as I want.

After Bill Sr. sold BMS and Bill Jr. (Rocky, now deceased RIP) he started RDL.  That company has been bought and sold many times now.
BMS is run by Rocky's former crew-they do the same great job.

If you get a RDL, get the sport version.  Just as comfy, and you can move around on it a bit.
