I'm baaaaaack....
« on: August 10, 2025, 12:50:46 PM »
After MUCH time down and having not started a Guzzi in many years (been riding my rifle-trade Sportster, comes to two wheels) it's time to get the Cal Vintage on the lift and finally put carbs on her. YES, I said that! :boozing:

Brings this to mind:
What happened to the 'Steel Cut Oats' thread?

and

The only search option I find now takes me off-site to the bepoxxed Guurgle search engine. What gives on that? Am I missing a button or tab somewhere.

Yes, the search is *powered* by Google, but it tags onto the forum so that all the search results are actually from the forum (you’ll see that in the URL link preview by each result)

Sadly, I couldn't use it to find any of the threads for which I was searching.

Seems like it used to be a lot; easier, more fruitful and direct in the past.

Might could be my rose-colored glasses, though.

If you go to Home here you can search Archives back to 2010, I know of a few carb mods done where you use ECU for ignition. Helps if you can modify maps w/GuzziDiag & TunerPro. You have to shut off O2 sensors & go from there. It becomes a 15M instead of RC.
