I found this perfect condition bike. It's all old tech. Drum brakes, front and rear, carburetor, OHV. Everything is cable actuated, no hydraulics.
Very low miles Honda 125. It will be my new daily rider. It's like a time capsule.

Just remember to actually put fuel in it: the massive MPG will lure you into a false sense of security.

It's rated at 147mpg with a tank of 2.27G cruising at 28mph. There is a reserve position on the petcock.

That's those weird U.S. measurements. Might get 50 miles in reserve - I always seemed to be on reserve, in the (late)'70s/'80s/'90s.

I just sold an '81 cb125s.  It had  800 miles on it and at least 2 decades of non-use when I bought it in 2014.  It had a 6 volt charging system and factory electronic ignition, no electric start.  I ran the thing with a 6v sealed battery from Menards - outdoor lighting & security section ($10).  Once the carb & tank got a good cleaning it would start on the first kick.

I was intentionally vague in my post.  I wanted to present this as an old classic bike that I found and purchased.  I was testing the members here to see if anyone recognized it as a new machine.  It is actually a brand new bike.  It just looks like it was made in the 80's.  These are not available in the USA.  I am currently in the Philippines.
This bike with the exchange rate cost me out the door, $1009.  In pesos it is 57,500.
Most people buy scooters here, but this bike spoke to me.  I will have a blast riding out on the rural province roads on my "antique".
There are some other amazing deals here on small bikes. Most seem to be about 1/3 the cost of an equivalent bike in the USA.
