I'm an analog guy in a digital world, so my previous comment about using a Booster Plug is what worked best for me. Unplug a sensor, plug in the BP, plug in the sensor, route the BP sensor, and I was done. Didn't have to download numerous files, didn't need a cable or gizmo to load the files, and it made whatever bike I installed it on run smoother, especially at idle and lower rpms. I installed a BP on a couple of Triumph Street Twin 900s I used to own, an Aprilia Dorsoduro 900, and maybe a BMW K1200S, I'm not sure. I don't think they make them for any of the Euro5 and higher bikes though, which is a moot point, since a Nevada isn't Euro 5-spec.
Anyway, sounds like you're on your way to figuring it out, so good luck!
