Ghezzi-Brian Folgore
« on: January 20, 2026, 09:51:31 AM »
Recently re-connected with an old Guzzi buddy of mine in Scottsdale who told me he recently found and brought his "Dream Bike" - A genuine Ghezzi-Brian Folgore!! Cool beans all around!!  :thumb:  :boozing:

I sent an email to our main man Nolan Woodbury for his commentary.  Here is what he said:

That's an old crush JJ. Was very fortunate to become friends with the dudes at G&B, covering them for M-E at the Guzzi factory - parked right next to the wind tunnel. Tested a black over silver frame Supertwin all during WSB at Laguna, 2004 IIRC. Good memories, but the bike wasn't set up very well. It is without a doubt the smallest big-bore Guzzi ever. 3/4 size.

Would have been more than happy with the 'regular' Supertwin 1100 without gold wheels, etc. Originally, the Folgore name was used for the 4v version, then just a trim package. Ha! G&B delivered them with an 1100 Sport factory manual.

That is a beautiful and uncomfortable looking Guzzi. Looks like they took some ideas from a Buell Firebolt for the front end (rim rotors, fairing). Dual rim rotors! That must have tons of braking power.
