New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Looks like the majority of us will not be doing much outside the next few days. I just told KBallowe it’s a good time to gather up some old tooth brushes, Qtips, smoking pipe cleaners and do some fine detaining in his herd. What are you guys planning to do with your bikes the next several days??Anyway, stay warm and dress in layers if going out!Dan/Danny
One of the bikes is on the lift, garage heater has gotten temps up to t-shirt and shorts temperature and I have a set of dual color LED's that I might start working in installing but the beer fridge died yesterday so I might spend the better portion of the day cleaning it out 16 ounces at a time while listening to the radio and waiting for the snow to fall.
It's time to ride the Ural!
Ural gets me around through the winter.But... I just received my marvelous box of spaghetti from Greg Bender. The T3 is getting a completely new wiring this winter. Guess some of the normally inaccessible spots will be cleaned during the remove/replace and rewiring. I see a lot of clean bikes at group meet-ups. None are mine. Bikes get so dirty the minute I ride them in weather. Seems counterproductive to invest 8 hours in a cleanup that disappears in 45 minutes. On the other hand I spent two days fussing over a used Lester wheel to make it right to my specifications. Did it again on the other wheel. They were dirty soon after installation but they were tubeless, air tight, ran true and had properly spaced premium bearings in all positions
Good weather for riding for me. Finally no rain and cooler weather in the 70's. I got out for a couple of rides here in Cebu in the Philippines. The bike is dusty and dirty and will probably stay that way for a while.
