Love for the red headed stepchild of the family. Glad to see it.

IMHO. The original LeMans in Ice Blue is simply sublime. I acknowledge that my Guzzi bias likely affects my final vote, but so be it.

The three bikes that stand out to me for best looking is the Buell xb12s in blue and gold; the 2005 gsxr750 in yellow; and the MV Augusta F4 in silver/red. I never rode the MV Augusta but I owned the GSXR and rode the Buell. Both were a lot of fun.

I think this thread makes a great case for why there are so many different motorcycles being made - taste and desire cannot really be debated.

True enough.  Neither can be debated, cause we're 100% right, and the other guy is 100% wrong!!  Just like 2 + 2 = 4!  True by definition!

Hopefully it will always be like that.  Imagine a world where everywhere you go, all you meet are clones of yourself.

How would you find your bike in the parking lot when everyone is riding identical machines?

One of the reasons I bought gloss pearl white Victory Cross Country Tour
in March of 2013 is because nearly all those I knew and road with were
on black Harley’s.

I really don’t like group think and/or herd mentality.
That Victory still garners more positive attention than
any Harley CVO owner could ever hope for. I love it.

That is stunning!!!!

My grandmother used to zip tie a plastic flower to her car antenna to make it easy to find her car in the parking lot....

Victory's are awesome motorcycles.  Everyone I know who owns one loves it.

IMO, one of, if not the best looking V-Twin engine ever made.  And they are really low priced now!!

Yes, Victory motorcycles are crazy low priced. People are worried about parts.
What parts, you never needed a Victory dealer for any regular maintenance item anyway.
No Victory service department ever made money on Victory repairs.

Funny how a car that sat mostly unsold in 1970 is worth so much money today.

Honda Hawk 650GT and VF1000R, Harley XLCR1000 and XR1000 are just a few bikes that sprung to mind that were difficult to sell as new, but are valuable today.

This thread would have gone in a completely different direction if you’d asked for the most desireable motorcycle.
Desire constructs a conglomerate of each emotion and spits out an answer.
Here’s something we can all understand…
Here is an international Australian film star…

Here is a local newsreader…

If you asked anyone to define who is going to be the “best looking”, most would claim that #1 Margot, would take it out, but I contend that #2 Edwina is more “attractive”.
One gives a sense of unreachability yet the theoretically attainable seems more attractive.
Have you ever been in a venue and your eye is drawn to someone and you subconsciously form an opinion as to their attractiveness which may be not entirely complimentary..
Then you find out a bit later that they are asking after you with some level of intent and suddenly they appear more beautiful.
Now back to bikes..
For a bike to be “good looking”, it must be accessible, a proper fit for your needs and something you have a realistic chance to form a bond with.
So…
Best looking ?

Rather ordinary, fat in the wrong places, totally familiar in the dark and has never belonged to anyone else…
Oh and BTW..
That Norge photo is at 210,000 km.

I fell in love with this bike when I saw it in 1978 at the Yamaha Dealer down the street from my High School...... Made the dream come alive in 1986, had it painted Pearl white in 1990.

There are only two obvious things that are not stock on my Norge..
The wheels and the pipe.
But what makes it special (to me) is this…

Dubrovnic

France

Como

England

Paris

Norway

Nordkapp

Australia
So in addition to the obvious gratuitous display of self engrandissment, there is a point here..
The best looking bike is the one you have the deepest attachment with..
