« on: March 30, 2026, 11:11:02 AM »
Hi Folks ! Sorry Im late to this Forum ! Can anyone help please with the latest V7 II 2016 ECU Map and where to download it ! Bike is absolutely standard but  has the usual startup problems at cold only. Works Fine when warmed up !  Spoke to someone who did it years ago and they disconnected the O2 sensor and remapped and said  it worked perfectly from cold therein ! Can't find the Ecu Map though ! Thanks Paul

here is a great source for Guzzi MAP's

V7 II is listed as an available platform.

Good luck.

Always feel free to include photos of your bike. Don't see enough of those Racers on here.

Thanks for that ! I found that site but not sure if it has the one that actually works for this issue. Just need the one that fixes the Startup Cold issues that maybe someone else has found and knows that works ! Thanks Again Best Regards Paul

Beetle makes and provides the map, and is available via email through that website. Use it with Guzzi Diag software and cables. Doesn’t cost much.

Thanks ! Have all the software and Cables ready to go ! Just want to find someone who has had same issue and knows which map that fixes it ! Dont really want to do trial and error at $100 a time and not know if it is the correct map that sorts the cold startup issue  ! The Guy I spoke to did  it 10years ago and said he just downloaded the map for free and disconnected the O2 Sensors , but couldnt remember now where it was from ! Bit like me ! Short term memory ! haha !  Cheers ! Paul

Beetle is very easy to work with. If it doesn’t work, he’ll work with you on it, and he has a long history of successful maps. If you’re getting one of his maps for free, I don’t know where that exists, nor would I personally use it without donating him funds for the time and effort that he puts into helping people out, and at a much cheaper rate than some other providers. He deserves your money, and you’ll be happy for it.

what Dirk said.

I would definately contact Mark (Beetle) first and tell him what's up. He'll ask questions about how your bike is currently set up etc and offer his solution based on that, then after install, he's eager for feedback and will tweak accordingly.

Make sure you know as much as possible as far as original airbox/filter (paper/K&N)/exhaust so you can answer those questions. If you own a Guzzi and cables and a laptop, you're clearly not normal and may have all that well in hand.

Good luck!

Still with no photos...   :violent1:

I had Beetle do a map for my 16 stone last year after the O2 sensors failed. It fixed the cold start up jut fine and the overall fueling was excellent. Just email him. FYI, $100 is dirt cheap for his help!
