California EV 1100 2001, handlebars

I'm bringing one of these back to almost standard with a few small differences.

I'd like lower bars, looking at upside down ace bars which an ebay seller has. The knurling is 115 so only a bit short either side
About 100mm riser, 80mm narrower than standard. Anyone done this, does it look right, miss the tank ok and all that. And any pics?
