QQ- Sealant on Breva Pump Seal?
« on: June 08, 2026, 05:48:17 AM »
Hello, I say good morning to you all,

Should I use some sort of Sealant for my Breva1100 fuel pump the rubber seal. Or just fit it dry?

I've never used sealant or come across anybody else who does on the fuel pump seal. Dry works fine.

Thanks Malik, there was some sort of sealant on there (not original filter).

Loctite #518 is red goo that is recommended for Aprillia pump plate O ring, stops the fuel. I use it on petcock nuts going to tank, they never leak. Same with all the fuel pump plate rubbers. Re-smear & reuse.
