Won’t be there this year and I’ll remain glad that I saw the historic factory quite a few times before Piaggio and some yo yo from LA turned it into Disneyland.  1998 (my second visit) was probably the best visit, when they were building 1100 Sport Corsas.

I’m sure the lakefront and bike watching in the park will be unaffected and I wish I was there for that    Mandello del Lario is for sure not Disneyland as a whole, and it’s neat to see Guzzis so densely parked that you can’t find a place in the city limits to park another.

If those yo yo's had you make an extra 110 mile round trip to Atlanta just to lay outside on a piece of cardboard in the rain and put the stock cat and muffler back on your v85 just to apprise them so they would then warranty the rings they already knew were junk you'd feel the same way.

More than 60,000 people from all over the world came to Mandello del Lario for four days filled with passion, encounters and Moto Guzzi.

GMG 2026 – The Opening marked a milestone in the history of the Eagle: the opening of the new Moto Guzzi home, with a completely renovated factory and Museum, and the beginning of a new era that looks to the future while celebrating everything that has brought us this far.

Thank you to everyone who shared these unforgettable days with us, to those who returned to Mandello and to those who discovered it for the very first time.

GMG 2026 ends here. The next chapter of Moto Guzzi has already begun.

Now that you mention it, the new factory does look a bit like Space Mountain!!
