if the MV Agusta wins "best tank design" ever, the roundcase GT/SS 750 is first place for engine design and beauty.

Somebody delete this heretic.

The best tank design is the V7 Sport and it's successors.

Lemme fix that for you Zupi...

Basis... not sure there is anything original left. Maybe engine case and frame:

After:

I must admit, it is the most droolworthy guzzi I ever saw. In person even!
 ;-T ;-T ;-T :drool :drool :drool :drool

I am sure Zupi will post some pics of his bike in the sunlight...

Since everyone has their list of bikes in their sig... and it seems useful, here we go:

1984 Moto Guzzi V35 II
1998 Moto Guzzi California EV
2001 Aprilia RST1000 Futura

I think this story about the Lemans II built by Rich Cutler in the UK is an interesting read with very nice photos.

I built this Suzuki Savage with a Ryca kit last fall and really enjoyed the process. A bit of frame cutting was involved but no welding (a good thing since I have no welder) and some mods to the steel tank and rear wheel hub. The end result is a compact and very light bike with surprisingly good handling and speed.  http://www.rycamotors.com/

A Honda 305 Dream I'm guessing and the Yamaha RD350, two iconic motorcycles.
I should never have sold my RD400F Daytona Special.

Actually "batteries" - two 4-cell Ballistic Li-Fe batteries. One under tank between frame rails and the other just inboard of starter hanging from left lower frame.

Tank is from Legendary Motorcycles.

My '70 Suzuki T250.  Still and probably always a work in progress.  Think I'm going to make it street legal again this winter.  We'll see...

'12 Ducati SF 848
'70 Suzuki T250
'01 BMW 650 GS
and a few Guzzi's in the past...

Thank you for correcting my guess.  It is still an iconic example of an early Honda twin.
