That works too.  If you have one.
From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉 Hawaii.

Somebody snagged an original, un-restored but crusty G5 @ the IMOC rally this past Sunday. Saw it on a trailer.

Geesh, Charlie, Tom, steven, you mean I wasted 28 cents?
Now, how do I fix the bike leaning too far over on the G5 sidestand? can the stop/locking lug be repositioned or buffered or does it usually require some welding build-up or replacement? I see MG cycle has an improved locking lug 13432741K for sale.

I don't believe Mandello let one out without what I call like to call the 'micro-fairing'. They're Charming in a funny sort o' way....

The 81's came with the Euro Dash I think is called, which is the smaller one like the T3.

Pic of an factory 81' dash, not mine, but mine is the same. The '81 also is the only one I think that came with the chrome plated turn signals. Mine also had them, but they were old and changed them to the black ones. I posted this photo because is shows all the 81' US model parts, including the correct placement for the Emergency Flasher switch on the '81, which I also removed (saved), but in retrospect not sure why I did that. I could have used it the other day when I got stranded on a sketchy part of the road. Use a blinker instead, but having all flashing would've been safer. I might put that back on and the wiring to go with it.

Speaking of wiring and Dashes, Greg Bender has all the parts and break down of the G5 models in this regards. Got my wiring from him and was worth every penny.

That's the same dash that the V50 Mark II had. MG Cycle had them last time I looked if anyone is interested in fitting one.

Hi,

Both local Guzzi owners I know here in Vt have G5, one is the large fairing and bags while the other has much less.  I think both of them will be stripping them down for the cafe look.
